Testimonials

Lord & Penna Grazing Partnerships is a great place to work but don't just take our word for it see what previous employees have to say.

I spend 3 months working at Bayrick and it was a very great experience, maybe one of the best here in Australia, a really different way of life.
Kim learned me a lot of new skills as drive a tractor or welding.
And outside of work, I had the opportunity to see a lot of wild animals and I had a great time with the family.
If you are looking for a job on a cattle station, I advice you to contact them.

Working as a Jillaroo for Lord and Penna Partnerships was such a life changing experience. I really liked how the properties were managed, the work culture and people involved in the partnership made the days fun and entertaining. There was always an opportunity to learn something new and to create memories that will last a lifetime.

I have worked at Lord and Penna Partnership alongside Gerard and Linda for the past 17 years.  I have gained so many new skills and have a greater understanding of the industry thanks to LLP and the wonderful team of people. Always striving to improve health and welfare of their land and animals.  Providing the opportunity and skills for people to do so.  It is a great working environment with so much variation.  Like a big team of family and friends all working together to create a difference. Love it.

As someone with no previous governess experience, Lord and Penna Grazing were amazing in providing me with the skills and support I needed to build my confidence in the role. I really enjoyed the learning environment and the flexibility to try new things. The team are genuinely so great to work for and for anyone else with limited experience, I would highly recommend Lord and Penna Grazing.

What can I say, except that I spent a great month with the Iland family. You never get bored, and get so many different outback experiences! Kim is a good, patient and thoughtful teacher and this is the type of guy who never looses his temper (even if you've broken a fence with a tractor.......sorry again Kim!). Melissa is a great cooker and a lovely helper, whatever you need.

To conclude, this is OUTBACK, this is REAL AUSTRALIA, and this is AWESOME! Go for it!!!

Take care of you mates, thank you for everything and rightoooo!

I worked in 2017 for 4 month at Woolthorpe. The main job was fencing, but over the time i had to help everywhere on the farm. After 17 month of travelling, i can tell without a doubt, despite the physically hard work, hurting body, waking up at sunrise and bloody cold nights, those 4  month in the outback have been the best time on my whole trip. I made awesome experiences, i would never have experienced in my home country and learned so much about farmwork, mechanics and the life in the bush. If you don`t know something, Gerard is very patient and will explain you everything till you get it. That helped me a lot to learn all the new stuff, i was confronting with. Gerard and Linda do their best to make your time unforgetable. They`ll take you to events or to friends so you`ll get a authentic bush experience. They are so kind and hearted, i felt immediatly taken into the family. I`ll never forget the plate sized steaks and beers at the fireplace after a day of hard work. I gained so much weight, because of the food. It was so good, but not suitable for vegetarians!

If you like nature, living remote and if you wanna get a true australian farm experience with a lovely family, you will love it here. I loved it and i would do it again! Thank you!
