ABOUT THE LORD AND PENNA PARTNERSHIP

The Lord and Penna Partnership was formed in 2001 with the purchase of Woolthorpe Station, Aramac.  The partnership was formed by James and Marjorie Lord of May Downs Station Mount Isa, Ardie and Kacie Lord of Sutherland Station Richmond and Gerard and Linda Penna.  Gerard and Linda are responsible for the management of growth of the Lord and Penna business.  Bayrick Station was purchased in June 2006 along with Camroo that was purchased by Lord Pastoral.  The two properties although separate enterprises are both managed together.  In 2012 another property was added to the Lord and Penna business.  This is Coreena near Barcaldine. 

WOOLTHORPE - is a mixed enterprise and is situation 70km north of Aramac in central western Qld.  it is 43000 hectares and currently runs 3000 sheep and 5000 head of cattle.  Woolthorpe also runs a hay bailing enterprise bailing 3x4 round bales of Flinders and Mitchell grass when seasons allow.  

The homestead area at Woolthorpe consists of the managers residence, station hand house (3 bedroom), head stockpersons house (2 bedroom), and single persons qtrs (5 bedroom).

Woolthorpe is supplied with town power and has access to Aramac via 20km of dirt road and 50km of bitumen, or Muttaburra via 70km of dirt road.

BAYRICK - is 36000 acres (14574 H.A) of undulating Mitchell grass downs and buffel grass.  It is prime fattening country.  Bayrick and Camroo (Lord Pastoral) are currently being managed by Kim and Melissa Iland who started with the Lord and Penna business in Dec 2011.  Kim and Melissa are also Lord Pastoral former employees.  Bayrick runs 5000 head of cattle and 5000 head of goats.  Camroo runs 2500 head of cattle and 500 head of meat sheep.

The homestead area at Bayrick consists of a beautiful old Queenslander set among well established gardens on the banks of Bayrick creek, a 4 bedroom cottage for employees and large shearers quarters and shearing shed.

Bayrick is supplied with town power and has access to Tambo via 18km black soil road and 57km of bitumen or Augathella via 20km black soil and 60km bitumen.  The larger centre of Charleville is 115km via dirt roads from the station.
